Graves Announces More Town Hall Meetings

Washington, D.C., August 22, 2011 -

In continuing his summer town hall series, U.S. Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-09) has announced the details of the three remaining meetings for Georgians in the 9th Congressional District.  The town hall meetings are set for the counties of Forsyth, Lumpkin, and Fannin, and are intended to serve the residents of nearby counties as well.  Town hall-style meetings are a traditional forum used by members of Congress to talk about their issue positions and hear comments or questions from people in the communities they represent.  Rep. Graves will begin each town hall meeting with remarks and a short survey before opening the floor to those in attendance for an hour-long conversation.

Note: All of the town hall meetings are free and open to the public.  Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
