Rep. Graves Receives "Spirit of Enterprise" Award from U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Washington,
March 29, 2012 -
U.S. Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-09) was honored today to receive the "Spirit of Enterprise" award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber President and CEO Thomas Donohue gave the award to Rep. Graves in a ceremony this morning. The award is given annually to lawmakers who support legislation critical to the American business community.
The winners are selected based on rankings the Chamber gives members of Congress for key business votes outlined in its yearly publication, "How They Voted." This is the twenty-fourth year that the U.S. Chamber has formally honored the accomplishments of a select group of members of Congress.
“Over the past year, Congressman Graves has worked to protect and advance the interests of America’s job creators,” said Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber. “By supporting pro-growth policies, Congressman Graves is helping unleash the power of free enterprise to put our economy back on track and put Americans back to work.”
